SOBRE NOSOTRAS 

El Comité de Madres Latinas de la Misión (CML) es una organización independiente y autogestionada que tiene como objetivos principales contribuir a 1) Solventar las deficiencias educativas de nuestros hijos e hijas en el marco de la educación institucional y 2) Mitigar el impacto negativo en la salud mental y emocional a causa  de las medidas impuestas por la pandemia y la subsecuente problemática social.    

Lo hacemos a través de promover el fortalecimiento de la identidad cultural latino, indo, y afro americana, además de generar espacios de encuentro para la comunidad latina que posibilite la lucha por las necesidades directas de nuestras familias, más allá del área educativa.

ABOUT US

The Latin American Mission Mom’s Committee (LMMC) is an independent and self-managed organization whose main objectives are to contribute to 1) Solving the educational deficiencies of our children within the framework of institutional education and 2) Mitigating the negative impact on mental and emotional health due to COVID-19 measures, lockdowns, schools closures, and subsequent social problems and violence.

We do this by promoting the strengthening of Latin American Identity and ancestral culture and knowledge, as well as generating meeting spaces for the Latino community that enables the creation of resources for the direct needs of our families, beyond the educational area.
